Regalo de Papá Noel:  300.000 visitas!

Bueno amigos, se va terminando el año. Para muchos habrá sido bueno, para otros habrá significado una transición, otros estarán buscando laburo, otros disfrutando de sueños realizados. Siempre pensé que esa cuestión del “balance” al final de cada año era una cagada. Uno no es bueno para juzgarse, y además, las metas trazadas en algún momento sólo significan cosas terrenas, superficiales o de orden logístico.

Lo cierto, como se dice cláramente en Ítaca, lo importante es el camino.

Los chinos suelen decir: Te deseo una vida interesante. Esa frase encierra mucho de lo que pienso. A lo largo del camino que te pasen cosas, muchas cosas, eso es lo importante.

Entonces, fraccionar el camino en años o meses o semanas sólo es útil para nuestra agenda laboral. El fin del año sirve para cerrar los estados contables, pero no lo veo útil para el consabido “balance personal”.

Sin embargo, cuando llegan las fiestas me acuerdo de las del año anterior, y de las cosas que en el medio pasaron. Claramente no me son indiferentes. Desde lo trivial del arbolito con sus luces, hasta un beso o el abrazo de mis hijos, todo se viste de “espíritu navideño”.

Hoy, junto con las fiestas, cumplimos 300.000 visitas. Cuando empecé el blog imaginaba como un inalcanzable estar dentro del 30% de los blogs más. Cuando el counter comenzó a subir, empecé a investigar… Cuántos blogs en el mundo hay?

De las decenas de cifras que hay en danza, me quedo con la de Alexa, que es un servicio de monitoreo de sitios en todo el mundo (controla desde la registración de dominios hasta el tráfico). Resulta que existen unos 300 millones de sitios en total.

Para pertenecer al 30% más leído, debía llegar a ser el número 100 millones. Al principio fue relativamente fácil, ya que resultó que de los 300 millones de sitios, existen muchos casi sin actividad.

Ya que estamos, me dije, Qué tal si nos proponemos entrar en el 10% más leídos del mundo? Para eso deberíamos ser el sitio número 30 millones. Pasados algunos meses, también amigos y gracias a ustedes, superamos esa etapa.

Hoy pertenecemos al selecto “Club del Millón”. Estamos dentro del el millón de sitios más leídos del mundo. Somos un sitio que forma parte del 0.3% más leídos de la tierra. Y si en lugar de compararnos contra el total de sitios lo hacemos contra el total de blogs, y en particular de los de música… la cuenta se hace mucho más chiquita todavía. Claro que los hay mucho más grandes que nosotros, pero pocos con esta onda, donde cada uno de ustedes que me lee se siente igual que yo: amigos.  Estamos ahí… entre los mejores y mayores, de todo el mundo.

Cerramos el año entonces. Brindemos con los nuestros para que haya paz, para que no les falte el calor del cariño… a nadie.  Les deseo, de corazón, que tengan una vida interesante.

Pink FLoyd, Oh, by the Way - (2007) Discografía Remasterizada

Festejemos al año que vendrá con buenas cosas. Hace 2 añitos, el 7 de Diciembre de 2007, se editó “Oh, by the Way”, un boxset con la discografía de Pink Floyd en versiones remasterizadas. Desde The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn de 1967 con Syd Barret, hasta The Division Bell, de 1994. Incluye un disco que circula poco por la web: “Soundtrack from the film ‘More’”. Para qué vamos a andar con chiquitas.! Te subí todo el box, con todo el artwork completo incluyendo los curiosos artes de los Cd´s, que son mini réplicas de los vinilos originales que hasta dicen “Sida A, Side B…”, y todo a 320@.

Y como yapa adicional, agregué el video del concierto de Pink en Live8, la última vez que tocaron juntos.
